One year old Fruits & Flavours serves a offers a plethora flavours, but their best are the fruit based flavours. They make ice-cream in small quantities on a regular basis so that they only serve fresh product. Their ice-cream is 100% milk based natural fruit ice-cream without any additives.
Most of their ice-creams aren’t as sweet as what most of our palates are accustomed to. “Keeping the health aspect in mind, we consciously keep the sugar content low in all our products. We also don’t use any synthetic flavours for our based ice-creams,” says Mustafa Mama, proprietor of Fruits & Flavours. But, if a mouthful of sugar in your ice-cream is what you like, they’ll be happy to oblige for bulk orders. What’s more, they also customize flavours for a minimum order of four litres. So, go wild with your imagine, rest assured they’ll cater to all your whims and fancies. Their Lime and Caramel flavour happens to be one of their their most innovative flavours they have done.
Amongst the ones we tried the Strawberry and Anjeer Walnut happen to be our favourites. The strawberry ice-cream is rich, creamy and is accompanied with a subtle hint of the fruit. Although it tastes like frozen yogurt, it’s textures assures you that you are eating ice-cream. The anjeer walnut is packed with just the right amount of fruit and nut and moderately sweet. The two distinct flavours, compliment each other and combine to make a risque flavour. Its richness makes it a perfect dessert for festivities. However, the pack we took home was surprisingly extra sweet. There seems to be an issue with consistency amongst batches.
We also tried the Orange, Watermelon and several other flavours off their menu but nothing really clicked. The orange is refreshing but the milky flavour doesn’t go well with the citrus. The watermelon flavour was sweet and that is about all that there is to it. The consistency of the product across flavours too varies. While some of them are rich, creamy the others are icy and this is what makes tasting the flavour before buying it an imperative.
Fruits & Flavours also accepts bulk orders and delivers for free for a minimum order of 2 litres, within a radius of 3km.
