Better late than never. Here are a few shots taken during the recently held Bacardi NH7 Weekender hosted at Magarpatta City, Pune. Or as Vishal Dadlani would say, Magarrrrrpatta. The 3-day music festival was better organized compared to last year in terms of infrastructure and food options. The month and a half leading to the festival had seen many of the performing acts play in the city and hence was easier choosing between artistes this year unlike last year. We were slightly disappointed that the surprise Zero set took place in the confined walls of the Dub Station stage and many were not aware of the timings for it since it had gotten delayed by a day.
No mentions of a headlining act for the closing day was quite a shocker but the All Stars stage curated by Karsh Kale made up for that and that indeed was a rather spectacular close to the festival. People who attended the festival last year did comment on how this year around it didn’t have the same intimate feeling like the first edition, but we think it’s all good.
