Arc Asia came alive on Friday night with the raw folksy sound unique to Swarathma at the NH7 pre-party, where they performed songs from their upcoming album like Kooraane and Aaj Ki Taaza Fikar as well as old popular numbers like Yeshu Allah, Topiwalleh and Bolo Kya Hai.
A charming prologue to the NH7 Weekender that is to come, frontman Vasu Dixit’s stage antics are no longer restricted to only bringing out the ghodi as he got off stage to make everybody dance, including the senior citizens who were there just to dine – so much so that they request for an encore at the end. And Swarathma did oblige them with Pyaar ke Rang.
The clincher for the evening’s lovely set? Their announcement that the second album would be made available for free.
