From Stig to Massa, Schumacher Creates Waves
Some time back, when Top Gear revealed the Stig as Michael Schumacher himself, there was buzz around the fans of both the show and the driver, and obviously the racing world. Websites had the news doing rounds for quite some time then, and twitter was trending with the news.
Yesterday, Schumacher created waves again. After retiring from the F1 circuit in 2006, the seven time world champion took over as advisor for Ferrari. Now that Felipe Massa is hospitalized due to the accident during the Hungarian Grand Prix where he fractured his skull, Michael will be standing in for Massa for the rest of the season until he makes a fully recovered come back.
Many of his fans have been commenting on the shocking return. One said that no matter how an interesting script be written for a movie, this news can beat it any time. Many other believe that this is what a legend is made of and that Schumacher will never die.
The world obviously is praying hard for Massa to recover and return to the circuit. But so is everyone excited to see Schumacher pit against Hamilton and Button for the first time.
Michael, though out of the F1 tracks was indulging himself in motorbike races where he suffered from neck injuries and therefore is going under rigorous tests to determine his physical capability for the F1 races especially due to the varying G-forces.
Now let’s see what brings us the European Grand Prix.
