Renowned professional hair designer, Jawed Habib along with co founder and Managing Partner Zafar Khan, has formed ‘Hair Express’ a chain of budget salons that provides a quick hair cut for busy people in the environment of Retail Malls.
Hair Express will provide designer hair cuts to men and women in less than 15 minutes for only Rs.99/-. The Hair Express salons have been conceived to become a universe of hair care which would cover hair cuts, hair products, hair education and more. According to Jawed Habib, “Cut the frills in business and reduce all business operating expense and pass its benefits to the end consumer.”
The management has set an aggressive target to build 100 Hair Express Salons in Malls around the country at strategic high street locations through a franchise business format. Hair Express is also planning on venturing into products for hair care under three broad categories such as shampoos and conditioners, electrical hair products and accessories.
Hair Express has already been launched at two prestigious malls, Inorbit Mall, Malad and Raghu Leela Mall, Vashi. There are three more Hair Express Salons scheduled to come up at R Mall Mulund Mumbai, Growel 101 at Kandivali, The Hub Goregaon.
The technical staff of Hair Express is trained at the famed Jawed Habib Hair Academy and they receive incentives for quality and speed. The marketing team at HairXpress has targeted to develop a 10 minutes waiting period around the country to achieve optimum production efficacy.

Well the good part is the accessibility to a brand as Javed Habib but the weird part was the glass saloon which gave the whole world a sneak a peak onto the whole thing!
